WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect personal information via our “client application” form for the gym and our “new baby” form for the creche.

Personal information we collect about you can include your name, postal address, email address and phone numbers. We also collect bank details – bank name and address, account number and sort code – for the setting up of a standing order.

We may also collect information about how our website is used and track which pages users visit. We use this information to monitor and improve our website.

Under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), we are able to hold and process personal information when it serves a “˜legitimate interest’; this means that Genesis Lifestyle Centre is legally permitted to keep this information, as long as it serves the essential functions of the company. However, you have the right to withdraw consent for our access to your data at any time. You are also entitled to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you.

HOW DO WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the personal information collected from you to:

All information is stored securely, either electronically or at our head office.

HOW LONG DO WE HOLD YOUR INFORMATION?

We only store data as long as it is absolutely necessary, and we will destroy data at an individual’s request.

• Gym user forms we keep for the entirety of your gym membership. Once your membership ceases we will erase all data within 3 years.

DO WE PROVIDE INFORMATION TO OTHER PARTIES?

We will never sell your data to any third party!

HOW YOU CAN UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION

The accuracy of your information is important to us. If you change email address, or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, please email us at [email protected]

COMPLAINTS

If you feel unhappy with our usage of your personal data, you should contact Genesis Lifestyle Centre via our standard complaints procedure, which is available on request. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
